Start at Green Park with a private guide and walk to Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guard (daily in June and July, otherwise on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays).

After the walking tour, the guide will direct you to Westminster Abbey with entry tickets provided. This building is significant for coronations and burials of the British Monarchy for over 1000 years. Explore the Abbey at your own pace.

After visiting the Abbey, visit the Churchill War Rooms. Learn about the underground center where Churchill and his team worked during World War II.

Please note: The Changing of the Guard will take place daily in June and July, otherwise only on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Select the 10 AM start time for this experience.

  • The guide will give you Westminster Abbey and Churchill War Rooms tickets during the walking tour. They will not accompany you inside these attractions

  • Meeting point: When you get to Green Park underground station, take the left-hand exit. You’ll see a set of stairs and a ramp leading out of the station. Take the stairs. Then, walk past the Big Bus Company people to locate the Ritz Hotel and the meeting point
  • This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress according to the weather conditions
