The creaky doors of Moorgate Station, one of London’s Underground stations, are set to swing open for a special Hidden London guided tour with the London Transport Museum.

More than just a station, Moorgate is a historical gem that serves as a time capsule from 1865. With this VIP ticket, you can roam its tunnels and deserted tracks, finding the only surviving Greathead tunneling shield from 1904!

As you walk down passageways hidden from public gaze for over a century, look at the glass tiles of the City and South London Railway, and listen to narratives of Moorgate Station’s past as a freight hub.

  • A member of the Hidden London team will meet you on arrival
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the time on your ticket
  • IMPORTANT: All guests must present a photo ID to gain entry

  • The tour involves a lot of walking, including areas with uneven terrain and dim lighting. It is not recommended for guests with claustrophobia
  • The tours are not step-free and involve walking up and down staircases (there are no elevators)
  • Please wear sturdy shoes and appropriate clothes
