Hamburg: Blankenese District Guided Tour

Discover the little thatched cottages, half-timbered houses, and larger villas on the banks of the River Elbe on this 2-hour tour of Blankenese in Hamburg.

Start this unforgettable walk through the old quarter at the Blankenese suburban station. Admire the Goßlerhaus in one of the specious parks, walk along the main street in Blankenese to the “Stairs Neighborhood”, and wander over the staircases to the beach.

Your professional guide will tell you stories about Brahms on his summer holidays, where to find the smallest house in Blankenese, and about the fisherman who brought down the pirate Störtebeker.

After a short break in the sand, continue uphill for a rewarding view of the sea and ships leisurely cruising the harbor.
